The DC chapter is doing an Earth Day volunteer event together! On April 13 we will join the Anacostia Watershed Society at Pope Branch Park Restoration Alliance to clean the Anacostia watershed. The volunteer event will go from 9-12, and we will meet afterword for 1 hour (so pack a lunch!). Be sure to REGISTER.
You can access the park via metrobus A31, V1, V2, V4, and there is street parking.
All tools (including gloves) will be provided, but bring closed toed shoes and pants, a water bottle, and a packed lunch. Feel free to invite friends and family!
