The Evolving Role of Corporate Sustainability

The Evolving Role of Corporate Sustainability
Alison Taylor, Siemens Corporation

In 1994 business author and serial entrepreneur John Elkington coined the phrase “Triple Bottom Line” to take into account the financial, environmental, and social cost of doing business. Corporations began measuring their performance in terms of profit, people and planet. Corporate sustainability has now grown to encompass not only the goals of the entire enterprise but its impact on future generations.

Please join us for a discussion with Alison Taylor, Vice President Sustainability, Siemens Corporation, as we explore the evolving role of corporate sustainability, including its large scale impact on smart cities, as well as its applied role in the individual business enterprise and its future competitive advantage.
